DGTL

Design of DGTL's touring mainstage. DMX-controlled rotating mirrors and LED lines on steel, matching DGTL's new brand identity, which resembled Morse code. A stage system to house anywhere between 1500 and 7500 house music lovers for venues worldwide.

Remove the skin, reveal the structure

Inspired by Sol LeWitt’s use of open, modular structures that lead him to “remove the skin altogether and reveal the structure”, the stage design system’s components may be separated and recombined.

A system that opens the possibility to alter the stage by reconfiguring, adding or removing its ‘core components’.

The functional components are integrated in the reusable modules, reducing costs by making use of industry standards. The stage is flexible in its design and augmentation through the possibility of adding newly designed modules over time.
