Corona wanted to own a moment. We designed Sunsets, the biggest brand-owned cultural platform, which we have taken around the world for more than a decade: from flagship festivals to on-trade activations, now run by local teams based on our toolkits.
From Australia to Chile and from Mexico and China, Corona Sunsets has celebrated the golden hour together with talent like Jungle, Ry X, Moby, Bomba Estereo, Groove Armada, Nightmares on Wax, Mo Black, Daniel Popper and Maribou State, performing for crowds of over 200,000 people in total.
To roll out Corona Sunsets and keep all executions consistent, we produced a series of toolkits and the music strategy to be activated by markets worldwide.
Through workshops and collaborations with the communities of the countries we visited the brand and audience engaged deeper with local culture and tastemakers.
Our toolkits were activated at 7,000+ local Sunsets celebrations around the world, from on-trade to airports and from rooftops to snowy mountains, all in honour of nature’s most magical daily moment.
Nachtlab designed the visual identity for Corona Sunsets in-house: a combination mark pairing lettermark and imagemark, extended by a library of handcrafted icons that carried the brand across the site, the campaigns and its feeds.
