What I've learned about transformation design thus far #8
Perhaps the most profound and simplest teaching I came across while studying transformation design is this: transformation has no finish line.
There is no moment when you become “transformed” and get to stop transforming. There is no enlightenment that, once achieved, requires no further attention. There is no personal development that, once completed, allows you to rest. There is only the practice, continued.
This might not sound very encouraging. It is actually liberating! It means you cannot fail at transformation because there is no final exam. It means wherever you are in the process is exactly where you should be. It means the practice itself, not some imagined future state, is the point.
